This typeface ‘Untitled: Adapted' was designed specifically to represent the voice of Amin, from the film Flee, in my film-to-book translation. Throughout the film, Amin’s tone changes only slightly, as he struggles to express himself. I designed serif and rounded variations of Untitled Sans, by Kris Sowersby and Noe Blanco, to represent Amin becoming more uncomfortable and comfortable, respectively. The rounded font incorporates Arabic symbols as a nod to his native language of Dari. See it in use.
